Note 1 How can the Big Stuff pay less in 2006 taxes then they did in 2005 while the small stuff has an increase of 500 percent and in some case larger then even 500%
Note 2 This country can not long survive going from $2,000 in taxes to $14,000 in one year. Is it fair that Parcel 3 at 345 acres pays only $454.28 while next door, Parcel 4 at 320 acres pays $14,250.62
Note 3 Wonder what caused this little increase based on everything else that is going on.
Note 4 Parcels 9-a and 9-b is the 1914 platted sub-division addressed else where on this web site. It is pointed out here to show the arbitrarily dart throwing to assess the property. The 9-a portion was assessed at $5,000.00 per acre while the 9-b portion is assessed at $7,500.00 per acre. The combined total of 9-a and 9-b is 442.67 acres and was billed $46,559.32 for 2006 property taxes while the adjoining parcels of similar size paid only hundreds. Is this fair in today's environmental way of thinking.
Note 5 How can parcel 12 be assessed at $2,500.00 an acre while it is Land Locked on all 4 sides by property assessed at $1,000.00 an acre.
Note 6 Note difference in 2005 and 2006 taxes - It should be a crime.
One can readily see the wide spread inconsistencies with these assessments.
