The above property on the Left is a concreted parking lot in a condominium complex across the street east from Dunn Airpark in Titusville.

The property on the Right is a paved parking lot servicing 8 town houses across the street south from Draa Football Field in Titusville.

Ray has told else where on the Web Site about forcing 6 Properties to Sale in an attempt to salvage a portion of his loss from investing in Tax Certificates.

What has not been mentioned is the two parking lots Ray held Tax Certificates on and also forced them to sale.

Ray was so torqued off when he researched the 68 remaining Tax Certificates and discovered they were mostly on absolutely worthless properties which had no business being taxed in the first place that he decided he would do something about it.

Ray discovered not only parking lots but retention ponds, small land locked out parcel and all sorts of weird little parcels of land that had no bases for being taxed at all or if deserving of being taxed they were not being billed to the people using the property.

So for the sole purpose of using them as a tool to make change, Ray decided to force 2 of the parking lots to sale and then use them to create such a ruckus the powers of government would be forced to listen and do something to correct the situation.

Therefore, at his own expense Ray paid over $2,000.00 for 7 years of back taxes and other fees required to force the tax certificates on the above two parking lots to sale with plans to block them off from use and get the news media, TV etc. and in general raise enough hell to force government to do what they have thus far failed to do.

However, it took the county 18 months to have the auction and then the problems with the deed recordings and Ray's health deteriorated and Ray plain ran out of gas and other then meet with the property appraiser and point out the stupidity of selling peoples parking lots to others and taxing retention ponds, he never got around to carrying out his original intentions and the two parking lots were sort of out in limbo when he received a phone call from an investment company.

There is a little more to the story then can be wrote here but, the bottom line is, the caller immediately offered Ray $3,000.00 for the parking lot across from Dunn Airpark.

Being the honest man he is, Ray asked the investor if he had looked at the property and was informed he did not have to so Ray ask again and suggested that before they get serious about the property perhaps he should look at this particular piece to see what he was purchasing.

The man informed Ray that they knew what they were doing and didn't need to look at the property because they purchased property all the time with out looking at it.

So, Ray accepted the investor's offer and proceeded to process the deal through a Titusville Title Company. Incidentally Ray learned later that they knew exactly what the property was.

Next thing Ray knew, he and the Title company were getting phone calls from people in the Condo Complex all upset that someone was purchasing their parking lot on E-Bay.
