This is typical of how the state contributes to the land scammers of today and why taxes go up.

There is nothing on this plat to indicate this is anything but another building lot in the condominium complex when in fact it is a dedicated parking lot paved with concrete and on the site plan, it simply states, "Track A - Reserved for Tenant Parking".

Government's Sin is allowing the parking lot to remain in the hands of a developer at the time of recording and not prorating out the tax base to users of the parking lots.

In this particular development there are 4 such reserved tracks and no one made responsible for paying the parking lot property tax except the developer and when he is sold out he simply stops paying the tax and then the Tax Collector auction off the tax certificate every year to unknowing citizens and he does so year in, year out, over and over and over again.

Needless to say, it is quite disturbing to citizens when they discover they do not own the parking lot the've been using for years and now some clown is wanting them to pay up.

Bottom Line either make someone using the parking lot responsible for the taxes or if there is no one responsible then place a zero value on the parking lot and quite selling the tax certificate every year.

AND, Identify on the plat on the appraiser web site what these are to protect naive citizens.
